Complete Surrender
It's three weeks to go and we need to get before God with completely surrendered hearts on behalf of the people of this nation. We need to lay aside all else in order to seek and to find God's heart, and to pray those things only. We may not allow what we hear and see around us to influence our prayers at this time. Our focus must be God's heart, the hearts of our people and the voice of the ‘accuser’ of the brethren… satan himself.
Right now many are making plans to come to God's prayer meeting but many have other plans. The war rages again between Spirit and flesh. Mark 14:38 - The Spirit indeed is willing but the flesh is weak. And here the ‘accuser’ begins to speak worldly reasoning: "You can't afford to go, you will use up your leave, you have other commitments, plans you can’t change, it's fire season, it's irresponsible to leave your business or farm, etc.”
But with the ears of the heart we hear the Spirit of God say: "Come!"
Think of our nation, if it's as important to us as it is to God we need to be there - no matter what!
In His mercy and grace He has given us yet another opportunity to come together to pray. Will we miss it this time, never knowing that there will ever be another God-planned event in our nation. Time moves on.
“God has set eternity in the hearts of men.”
We need to pray for people to answer their heart’s call and not reason, to hear and obey.
He desires to speak of these things and to command a blessing over those of us there, together in the unity of His Spirit.
Please pray this week especially against the great evil of racism - particularly in our nation. It is so incredibly destructive and born in self righteousness. It comes against God's creation, Acts 17:26 & 27.

Please pray that Jesus will deliver those who are in bondage to the deception and lies of the enemy. That Truth and Love and Hope will prevail over all his strategies, and that all South Africans WILL BE THERE TOGETHER in God's glorious presence, on the mown fields of IT'S TIME, Pretoria.
