He Will Teach You

Can you hear the rain beating down on my tin roof - What a glorious sound and I make no apologies for the noise! If we go to the Gospel of John:

But the Helper, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in My name, He will teach you all things, and bring to your remembrance all things that I said to you.
— John 14:26

What a beautiful scripture for young students today - That’s right. And if we go straight to Matthew 10:19-20:

“But when they deliver you up, do not worry about how or what you should speak. For it will be given to you in that hour what you should speak; for it is not you who speak but the Spirit of your Father who speaks in you.”

He will help you, He will speak up for you!
You know I have 11 grandchildren. The youngest one hasn’t started school and the oldest one is doing community service - She is already qualified. I want to say to young students today:

Do not be anxious, do not be afraid. Do not be concerned about what you have to say, spend time with The Lord. Do your best, do your homework but leave it in God’s Hands.

Do not rush - take time to pray and meditate before you speak. You see when we are so busy making a plan, the Lord, Holy Spirit, cannot even get a word in. “Be still, and know that I am God” Psalm 46:10.

Do not allow the world’s chaotic system to rush you. I know a lot of you are learning online. You can’t even see your friends at school but the Lord is with you, The Lord will give you the answers - It is called 'divine cheating'! Your parents didn’t like that one! Don’t worry - I am telling you He gives me the answers all the time and people even think I am clever sometimes!

Remember when Jesus spoke to the Samaritan woman at the well, she was a total stranger. Jesus told her her whole life story. Why? Because the Holy Spirit was with Him. She went into the village and said, “I have met a man who told me my whole life’s story and I have never seen Him before!” and the whole village got saved. Do not be concerned about what you will say - God will give you the answer.

You know, I have a dear friend, his name is Michael Cassidy. He is the founder of African Enterprise and a true father of the Faith, especially in Africa. He tells a story in one of his books 'Chasing the Wind', about a young girl in the Salvation Army who was once asked how she knew God was alive and had come into her heart. This young lady, probably not very clever, without much education, being attacked by an atheist (probably an intellectual atheist at that) said: “This is the answer... Because I was there when it happened!”

Have a wonderful day - Jesus loves you and He will give you the answers.
