I Will Not Forget You
It is 31st December 2020, and this is your friend, Angus Buchan, with a thought for the day.
If we go to the Book of Exodus - Genesis, Exodus Chapter 33 and verse 14:
“And He said, (God Said) “My Presence will go with you, and I will give you rest.”
The Lord Jesus will not abandon us. He is going into 2021 with us. My dear friend, do not be afraid of the future.
Isaiah, Chapter 49 and verse 15 and 16 says:
“Can a woman forget her nursing child,
And not have compassion on the son of her womb?
Surely they may forget,
Yet I will not forget you.
See, I have inscribed you on the palms of My hands…”
Jesus carries the very scars of the Cross of Calvary on His hands. He died for you and me. He is not about to desert us at this very critical hour in the history of the world.
You know, many years ago, I used to do powerlifting as a sport, and I looked in the Guinness Book of Records - I can’t remember when it was or what year it was, but the most weight ever lifted by a human being in comparison to their physical weight, was held, not by the Russian Olympic Super Heavyweight Champion, not by any other athlete, but by a woman. That’s right - a small little woman!
You see, what had happened was, her child had run across the road and got knocked over by a big American Limousine. That little lady, I think she probably only weighed about 40 odd kilo’s, picked up the front of the car to get her baby out from underneath it!
Now, that is the kind of love that a mother has for her child and Jesus says, He has even more love than that for you and me.
So we need to be confident as we go into this new year, that The Lord is going with us.
I personally am so excited to see what Jesus is going to do! We are anticipating the greatest revival that this old, tired world has ever seen before.
We are going to see the greatest incoming of converts that we have ever seen in the history of the world.
Get prepared! Get ready! The King is coming. And by the way, He doesn’t sit on a hill and direct His troops, He leads them from the front.
I just close with this one beautiful verse, Hebrews chapter 13, verse 6:
“The Lord is my helper;
I will not fear.
What can man do to me?”
If Christ is going with us, we have nothing to fear.
I want to wish you God’s richest blessing, as you step into the unknown, so exciting!
All the bridges are burnt. There is no turning back. We are going forward into a complete new era but God is leading the way!
