Shine The Light

Morning team, prayer focus for this week:

Watch and Pray: It's Time to enter into the secret place of the Most High and spend some time on our knees this week in worship.

God has given us so much favour thus far. The team of organisers for IT'S TIME Pretoria have begun to see miracle after miracle from God, as they meet, pray and put in place all that God has planned for the Prayer Meeting. So many testimonies of His faithful leading, directing, provision and grace confirm again and again that this is a God event.

Many years ago at Cape Agulhas, believers prayed that the continent of Africa known as 'the dark continent', would receive the light of God. At that time the words of Jesus were prayed over this nation - John 8:12: "I AM  the light of the world. He who follows Me shall not walk in darkness but have the light of life."

God's Word does not return void. From Genesis: "And the Spirit of God was hovering over the face of the waters..." vs3: "Then God said... Let there be light and there was light and God divided the light from the darkness".

This week our prayer focus is to shine light into darkness. The light of God's love and the lamp of His Word. We need God to divide light and darkness.  It's time to pray the Holy Spirit will begin to brood /hover over the mown fields of IT'S TIME venue. This week we need to look at the area, discern, call out and deal with territorial spirits, strongholds, places of satanic activity and of spiritual significance in the Tshwane area. We need to look at historical and geographically established areas of spiritual darkness; names which give satan an open door of entry.

How many times have we done this work, yet satan has continued to build and re-establish his strongholds, so we need once again to root out and pull down, to destroy and to throw down, to build and to plant. Jeremiah 1:10 - We need to declare God's Word over lives, places and communities in this area, and while we do this work please continue to watch and pray for our own families and the families of all those who are involved in the preparations for the It's Time event. Be especially watchful over the doors of our hearts and homes. The enemy seeks to work, not from the outside, but from the inside to divide and weaken our stand against his strategies, to steal, kill and destroy all that God has planned for this nation and the salvation for all her people.

Greater is He who is within us than he who is in this world.

In the first letter of John vs 5 we read: "This is the message which we have heard from Him and declare to you, that God is light and in Him is no darkness at all”.

May God's light shine that men might look up and know that Jesus is the only solution for our nation, and so Lord Jesus we will continue to watch and to pray.
