Something to Eat
“But He answered and said to them, “You give them something to eat.”
And they said to Him, “Shall we go and buy two hundred denarii worth of bread and give them something to eat?”
Do you feel like that today, when Jesus said to His Disciples, when they were staring at 5,000 hungry men, not counting the women and children, "You feed them".
In the Book of Numbers 11:13, the great man of God, Moses, was faced with the exact dilemma, and He buckled under the enormity of the task, until Father God undertook for Him!
The first thing the Disciples did was to try and make a plan, saying that they had counted up all their money and only had a few denarii (Mark 6:37) - a hopeless situation.
That's where faith and obedience takes over. Jesus called for the two fish and the five barley loaves of bread, and the rest is history as they say.
Jesus is asking you and I today a question: "What have you got in your hand?" Well give it to Him and He will feed the masses with it, He will silence the giant in our lives today!
